The boys basketball team competed at provincial finals this past weekend. They began the tournament against the high powered offence of Birch Hills. The score was close for the first part of the game, but Birch Hills began to take control behind a barrage of 3 pointers. The boys ended up dropping the game, which put them in the bronze medal game against Saskatoon Christian. In the bronze medal game, the boys came out solidly and built up a 20 point lead by half time. In the second half, Saskatoon mounted a charge which saw the RJC lead cut to 3 points at one time. However, the boys managed to make a few clutch baskets to push the lead to 8 by the end of the game. Congratulations to the boys on a great season and a provincial bronze medal.
