Boys Vball finish season with Provincial Bronze!

At provincials, the boys' had a decent first day, finishing 1-2 on the day, but on the second day they really picked up steam.  They beat Wadena in the morning, beat Wilkie in the quarterfinal in a tough match, which sent them against #1 ranked Kelvington who beat them in an epic 3 set match.  In the bronze medal game, the guys beat Langenburg to take third place.  Well done!

It was an exciting finish to the boys volleyball season!  The day was filled with great play and great spirit.  Way to go boys!

Wheat King Hockey vs Cudworth Nov 21st

The Wheat Kings continued league play by traveling to Shellbrook on Sunday Nov 18th.  The game ended in a 7-7 tie.  They lost 5-3 against Cudworth last week Wednesday at home.

Girls' Volleyball Finishes Top Six in the Province

The RJC Girl's volleyball team had a strong start at the 2012 3A Provincials, defeating Watrous in two straight sets that had the fans of their feet. Their next opponent was St.Walburg, and again the girls came all guns blazing and won in two sets. Southey and LCBI, the host team, proved to be tougher opponents, and while the girls battled hard, they ended with a 2-2 record and third in their pool. In the Quarter Finals, the girls faced off with top-ranked Waldheim, and gr.12 captains Nicole Brockman and Jaye Warkentin kept things firing on all-cylinders. Though the girls were able to play point-for-point, they lost both sets, but ended their season with a weekend they can be proud of.
