The RJC Girl's volleyball team had a strong start at the 2012 3A Provincials, defeating Watrous in two straight sets that had the fans of their feet. Their next opponent was St.Walburg, and again the girls came all guns blazing and won in two sets. Southey and LCBI, the host team, proved to be tougher opponents, and while the girls battled hard, they ended with a 2-2 record and third in their pool. In the Quarter Finals, the girls faced off with top-ranked Waldheim, and gr.12 captains Nicole Brockman and Jaye Warkentin kept things firing on all-cylinders. Though the girls were able to play point-for-point, they lost both sets, but ended their season with a weekend they can be proud of.
