The boys' volleyball team had a successful tournament at
regionals this past weekend. They
opened the tournament with a 2 set victory over host Kinistino. They followed up that win with a
convincing win over Waldheim who they had previously lost to in conference
playoffs. This put the team first
in their pool and needing to beat Sturgeon Lake in the semifinal to advance to
provincials. The boys started that
game well with a 25-11 win in the first set, but dropped the second set by a
29-27 score. The boys rebounded to
take the third and deciding set to advance to provincials. In the regional final, the boys fell a
little short against Saskatoon Christian, but will see them again at
provincials this weekend. Best of luck boys!
