Friday, October 29, 2010 was a beautiful, sunny, cool day for the Provincial Soccer Championships hosted by RJC. The RJC girls played their first game at noon against Lake Lenore. The hoarfrost on the trees gives a clue as to the slipperiness of the grass. The girls played an excellent game but came up short with a 2-0 final score. On Saturday they played against Valley Christian Academy and again were just short with a final score of 3-0.
The girls had a great season. Each game their skills became more honed and their sense of each other to play as a team improved immensely. We had a lot of fun and can be proud of the fourth place finish in the province.
