On November 5-6, the boys volleyball tournament traveled to North Battleford to take part in the John Paul 2 tournament. The boys went through the round robin with a solid 3rd place finish out of 7 teams. In the playoffs, the boys battled in the semifinal and pushed a good North Battleford team to 3 sets. In the bronze medal game, the boys ran out of steam and lost to the home team from John Paul 2. All in all, a good weekend for the team. This weekend, the boys will be traveling to Strasbourg to compete in Regional Championship. Good luck on the weekend boys! (No pictures available)
Girls Volleyball
The girls' volleyball team played an exciting Regional Playoff tournament in Maidstone on November 13. The girls played their hearts out during the tournament, which resulted in a solid 3rd place finish and a qualifying spot in the Provincial Championships! That tournament will take place November 19-20 in Ponteix, and the girls are really looking forward to playing some exciting volleyball and representing RJC after their season of hard work.
