On Nov. 19-20, the boys volleyball team travelled to Strasbourg and Govan to participate in the East Regional for the 3A category. The boys started off slowly, dropping their first match to Kelvington. The boys then went on a bacon fueled run, winning their next 3 matches to put them into the semifinals against eventual provincial champions, Wakaw. The boys fought valiantly, giving Wakaw their toughest test of the tournament, but lost in 2 sets to the Wakaw powerhouse. This put the boys in the bronze medal game against Kelvington, with a trip to provincials on the line. The boys split the first two hard fought games, and were up 24-22 in the final set, before Kelvington came back to defeat the boys 28-26, and end what was a very competitive season for the boys.
