Longhorns Football Goes 6-0!!

The Rosthern Longhorns completed their regular season with a 28-20 win over the always tough Hague Panthers. Despite three turnovers inside the Hague 20 yard line the team was able to take control of the game in the second half and record an undefeated regular season! The Longhorns will host their first Provincial playoff game on Saturday, Oct. 31 as the #1 seed in their region.

Erik Epp was an effective weapon for the Longhorn offence all day catching passes from quarterback Evan Brockman.

Spencer Russell is called on by the Longhorns offence to gain tough yards running inside.


Luke Warkentin is giving it all he has as he wrestles the bigger Panthers running back to the ground.


Chandler Ericson-Lemaigre is in hot pursuit of the Panthers receiver as he heads towards the Rosthern end zone.

The blocking of Hugo Malan and Ryan Epp (20) is a big part of the success of the Longhorn's offence.



Hugo Malan (61) and Erik Epp open a huge hole for Spencer Russell (11) to run through after receiving a handoff from Evan Brockman.


Quarterback Evan Brockman calls his own number on this play as he keeps the ball and heads upfield.


The Longhorn's offence is set and ready to go as Evan Brockman sets the play while under center. The offence has been a good balance of run and pass with many players contributing to the team's success.
