Football vs Wakaw Sept 30

The Rosthern Longhorns continued their undefeated season with a 50-36 come from behind victory against Wakaw. The Longhorns made several key adjustments at half time and held Wakaw to a single touchdown in the second half while scoring 28 points of their own. The 4-0 Longhorns travel to Big River for their next game.

Hugo Malan provides great blocking for the offence as quarterback Evan Brockman hands off to the Longhorn running back.

4th year veteran and team captain Erik Epp drives for extra yards after the catch.

Erik Epp (12) and Jon Willie (10) cut off the running lane for the Wakaw quarterback.

Reciever Paul Ayres fights his way into the end zone. Ayres led the Longhorns with three touchdowns in the game.

Erik Epp (12) and Spencer Russell (11) move into position as the Longhorn's offence puts another play into motion.

Jon Willie cradles the ball with both hands as he looks for an opening while running back a kickoff.

Quarterback Evan Brockman keeps a close eye on his opponent as he runs to the outside looking for extra yardage. Brockman was effective again as both a passer and runner, scoring a touchdown and throwing for another three.

Ryan Epp is setting up his blocks on this kick off return which he took all the way to the Wakaw endzone for a touchdown on the opening play of the second half.

Jordan Peters (left) and Jordan Wiens (right) do everything they can to bring down a big, tough ball carrier from the Wakaw squad.
