It was a perfect day for the Longhorns semi-final game against Wynyard, the sun shone and the snow stayed away! The teams began by exchanging touchdown early in the game. Wynyard took the lead with a field goal to end the first quarter. Wynyard held the lead at half 23-16. The Longhorns dominated the 2nd half of the game scoring 3 unanswered touchdowns as the defense shutdown the Wynyard offense. The Longhorns held on to their lead and only conceded 2 points at the end of the game. Final score was 35-25. The Longhorns advance to the Provincial Final next Saturday in Watrous at 1pm. Congratulations boys!
