The Rosthern Longhorns began their Provincial Playoffs by hosting the Wynyard Bears in a quarterfinal game on Saturday, October 29. Rosthern earned the right to host the game because they finished first in their conference. The Longhorns started the game strongly with a touchdown on their opening drive and didn't look back, defeating the Bears 90-28 in a game where the starters on offense and defence played into the fourth quarter for the first time this season.
The Longhorns will host a provincial semi-final game on Saturday, November 5 at 1 pm. Their opponents will the the Winston (Watrous) Wildcats. This is a rematch of last year's semi-final which the Wildcats won en route to their Provincial Championship win.
