RJC Shoots for Par at Regional Golf tournament!!

On Thursday, September 10 eight RJC golfers participated in the Regional Grass Green golf tournament held at the Valley Regional Park just outside Rosthern. They were joined by sixty five other golfers from schools in the Prairie Spirit School Division and Willow Cree Educational Centre. The golfers were placed in groupings with players from other schools and played an eighteen hole tournament.

All the golfers from RJC enjoyed the day of competition. Some shot better than their normal games, some not........ Matthew Hildebrandt (grade 10 ) finished third in the tournament, shooting a score of 75. As a result, Matt qualified for the Provincial Tournament hosted by Weyburn Sept. 25-26. The winner of the tournament was Harris Cameron Jr. from Stobart High School in Duck Lake who shot a "Tiger Woods" type score of 62 which is ten under par! Congratulations to Matt and to all the guys who played and represented our school well.
