Football vs Aberdeen Sept 23rd

The Rosthern Longhorns improved their record to 3-0 with a hard fought 28-20 win over a tough Aberdeen Crusader team. Aberdeen jumped out to an early 6-0 lead only to see the Longhorns recover and take the lead 8-6 on a touchdown pass from Evan Brockman to Paul Ayres.

The Longhorns extended their lead with touchdown runs from Erik Epp, Jon Willie and Spencer Russell in the second half. With less than a minute to play the Aberdeen squad scored a touchdown to narrow the lead to 28-20. The Longhorns were able to recover Aberdeen's on-side kick attempt and kneel down to run out the clock at the end of the game.

The Rosthern Longhorn's next game is at home on Wednesday, Sept. 30 vs. Wakaw.
