The RJC campus was bustling on the weekend of September 23-24. RJC hosted the annual home volleyball/soccer tournament. We had two soccer pitches and two volleyball courts in full swing for the majority of the weekend. Four out of the five fall sports team saw action on this weekend. In total there were 22 teams on campus. Highlights of action to follow.
Boys soccer had a great showing at our home tournament. The boys learned to gel as a team and showed great improvement throughout the tournament.

The boys volleyball team recently hosted their home tournament. It was an intense two day 6 team round robin. The boys team went through the round robin with a 2 win and 3 loss record, good enough for the last playoff spot. In the semifinal, the boys had a great game against Senator Myles Venne with the boys winning the third set by two points. This put the team into the final against Langham, where the boys forced three sets again, but came up a few points short in the deciding game. Well done guys!

Our girls' volleyball team had a great time at our home tournament! They worked hard, played well, and split a few of their games. Unfortunately the girls did not advance to playoff play but overall it was a great learning experience and they're excited for the rest of the season.
