The Boys Volleyball Team finished up its season last week. The team travelled to Preeceville to take part in provincials. The guys started out strong with a win over eventual bronze medal winning Island Lake, before dropping their next three matches to finish out of the playoffs. The team came to within a hair's breadth of finishing second in their pool against Moose Jaw Cornerstone, but fell in 3 sets with the last set being 29-27. Good season boys!

The girls volleyball team had quite a successful provincial weekend. We came in seated 8th place and finished in 6th. We kicked off the tournament with a quality match against Waldheim. we took them to 3 after an exciting 2nd set that we won 31-29. We continued being competitive with every team we played, with all of our games going to the third set. Unfortunately, we couldn't pull off a win in any of our 3 games on Friday. On saturday morning, we beat Lashburn in a crucial game in order to make playoffs. Our Quarter final match was an intense game against the Wynyard Bears ( 1st place in other pod). It was a close game and both teams played well but we lost 2 straight. Wynyard ended up making the final and getting 2nd place to Wakaw.
