The Longhorns have advanced to the Provincial Final after two well-earned home victories in the Quarter and Semi-Finals the past two weekends. The Longhorns took on Kamsack in the Q-Finals and defeated the Spartans quite handily to move on to play the defending 3 time champion Watrous Wildcats. The Wildcats proved to be a very tough opponent, opening up the scoring and maintaining a lead into the second half. Some big plays on offence and a fantastic defensive effort allowed the Longhorns to eliminate the Wildcats in a very tight game, 30-24. The team will go for Provincial gold on Saturday, November 14th at home against the Birch Hills Marauders at 1pm. Hope to see you there to cheer our team on to victory!!
