RJC hosted the annual Alumni Volleyball Soccer Tournament on the weekend of . It was an exciting day as many alumni returned to relive the glory days. It was a day where sisters, brothers, moms, dads, sons and daughters played with each other and against each other! Battles were hard fought on both the soccer pitch and the volleyball courts. Each event had four teams participate in the day. Thanks to Denelda Fast for organizing a great day and a great event. Be sure to mark off next years date and bring a friend!
The soccer side of the tournament had at least 50 people participating. They were divided into four broad categories, the Staff team, Current student team, 'Old' Alumni, and Recent Alumni. The final showdown was between the 'Old' and Recent Alumni teams. In the end the youthful alumni became the weekend champions!

The Men's side of the volleyball draw included four teams. The Staff "Old Guys" team were crowned the champions after an exciting final against the 2005-08 team.

The RJC boy's team played well at the alumni tournament, playing some of their best sets of the year. They came up one honest call away from being in the final, but did win the bronze medal at the tournament.
The girls had a strong showing at the Alumni tournament. They lost in a 3 game match against the most recent alumni team.
