RJC's basketball season got off to a strong start. RJC hosted their annual Home Tournament to kick off their seasons. Both the boys and the girls teams had a strong showing despite only being together as a team for a week. Each game saw improvement from all the players and as teams as a whole.
The girls' lost to Langham and St. Mary's in two competitive matches but won against Stobart. Langham were the champions of the tournament.

VCA were the clear champions of the boys side of the tournament. RJC won against Martensville but experienced losses to VCA and Stobart.
