On Nov. 15th, the boys volleyball team participated in conference playoffs in Ecole Canadienne Francaise in Saskatoon. The boys needed to be top 2 out of 5 teams to advance to regional playoffs. The boys had a tough first match, dropping the opener to defending gold medallists Waldheim. The second match got the team in the win column with a defeat of Constable Robin Cameron. In the third match, the boys played their best volleyball of the season, defeating Langham in a tight 3 set match featuring some amazing plays on both sides. This set up the last match of the day with host ECF where if the boys won they would advance. the teams split the first two sets and were 14-14 in the third when ECF went on a 6 point run to take control of the match. The loss to ECF set up a 3 way tie for second, where points had to be counted to see who would advance. Unfortunately, the ratio did not favour the RJC boys and their season was over. Congrats on a fun and successful season guys.
