The Longhorns played their season opener in Aberdeen on Sept 13th. After a tentative start, the Longhorns came back from a 24 point deficit after the first quarter of play to a near win, only giving up the game by 2 points. It was an exciting game right to the final play. The final score was 24-22 for Aberdeen.
